What customers say?

“ I stopped by last month for dinner while passing through Port Hope, and tried the chicken souvlaki with rice and Greek salad. The portions were generous, and the flavors were solid with fresh ingredients standing out in the salad. The restaurant has a casual, spacious setup right on Walton Street in the downtown area, with a cozy vibe and decent cleanliness. Staff were friendly and checked in regularly without hovering. Street parking was straightforward nearby, and it's easy to access off the highway. A decent spot for Greek comfort food if you're in the neighborhood. ”

“ My wife and I along with our son have been to this place many times. Probably twice a month. The staff know us by name. The food is always delicious. Very good value for the money. I usually have the chicken souvlaki, it is absolutely delicious. My wife often has the salmon. Our son enjoys, having some of the salmon, along with one of the kids meals. There are several washrooms all of which are clean. We have entertained many out-of-town guests in this restaurant. They were all impressed with the food. Last year, we had a delicious turkey dinner at Thanksgiving. I have even shown up here late from work, and was encouraged to come in and have a sit down meal, even as the restaurant was closing. We have been for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We always Look forward to a meal here. Would highly recommend without hesitation to others. ”

“ We were just there for lunch. What a great little spot. Service was excellent. Their lunch menu has generous portions. I ordered the chicken souvlaki and was impressed. Their tatziki was the best around here in my opinion. My only wish is that they’d offer a kids menu in the future. We will return again soon! ”

“ We enjoyed a delicious, ample dinner with a large group. Wide menu choices, pleasant atmosphere without T V.'s! Classy-casual, clean place, friendly and helpful staff. The Mediterranean Wrap with Greek Salad was very filling. A very enjoyable evening all around. ”

“ Had a great breakfast one day, and the next day went there for dinner. Both meals were fantastic and the service was awesome! Very friendly staff. ”

“ This place was such a great ending to my trip to Port Hope. They were having a mother's Day special the weekend I went which included a three course special. The food was delicious. Very tasty without being salty (which is huge for me). I loved the chicken noodle soup. I got the stuffed chicken and my mother got the salmon and shrimps meal. The only thing I would say is that there was only one olive on the Greek salad and only one shrimp on the salmon and shrimps meal. However, that didn't take away from the pleasant experience. It was truly a delight from the food to our server. Will recommend for anyone in the neighborhood. ”

“ a nice cute pleasant place, with the food being so so. The portions are generous. The pork and chicken souvlaki were good but maybe a bit overcooked. The veal Marsala was a bit chewy. The salad and veggies were great but the potatoes didn’t seem fresh. ”

“ I didnt eat there, but my wife has twice in a week or so. She & her eldetly friend liked it. She brought me left over both times. Pork Souvlaki was good last werk. Today she brought Gyros dinner left overs. Well, my complaint is that that wasn't Gyros. You will not find that processed frozen then cooked in Greece. Yah, sadly some Greek restaurants go with this Crappy version of Gyros, but a nice restaurant like this not having Real Gyros is a disgtace. All Greek restaurants serving this version instead of the real way should be ashamed. Please throw all that out & start cooking authentic Gyros to be proud of !!! Then update everyone you are Real now. We likely will go soon together & try other meals & give feedback. I gave a good star rating since food is generally good here from what feedback I have heard. ”
